I was over the moon when my friend Emma asked me to perform at her wedding last month. It was a lovely service followed by a gorgeous reception at Charlton House in Greenwich, the best-preserved Jacobean mansion in London.
A huge thanks to all who were there and came up to say that they enjoyed the music (especially to those who stuck around for country & western ‘Pokerface’). Thanks of course too to Emma & Tom for inviting me to play, and for your recent email:
“I just wanted to drop you a little note to say thank you again for playing at the wedding – everyone said how great you were.”
I was also thrilled to be invited to play for the York Marriott’s 10th Birthday on the 18th March. The team put on a fantastic event, with a great turnout. We were treated to a walk down memory lane, with photos of the hotel on display going back to the 1970s, and hotel managers/staff dropping in from years ago. I’m already looking-forward to performing there for the Ebor race meetings later this year.
